Winners at ‘Tourism Oscars’

 

St Michael’s Hotel & Spa, Falmouth were winners in two categories in this year’s Cornwall Tourism Awards, which are known as the ‘Oscars’ of the tourism industry.

The hotel’s restaurant, the Flying Fish, and the hotel’s website both won bronze in the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ and ‘Website of the Year’ categories.

The GTBS is the leading sustainable tourism certification scheme in the UK. Businesses opting to join are assessed by a qualified grading advisor against a rigorous set of criteria, covering a range of areas, like energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and more.
